Breathwork & Kriya for the Trades

The way through is the breath.

Breathwork, kriya, and meditation for construction workers. A systematic approach to health of the mind, built for builders, tradesmen, and contractors.

A career spent in the dirt moving business. It came with a cost to the mind.

I started as a laborer in the trench. Over nineteen years I worked my way through the positions, operator, foreman, superintendent, estimator, project manager, and now I run a dirt business of my own.

That path gave me perspective from a lot of different angles. It also gave me a close look at something we don't talk about much on the jobsite. The stresses and mental challenges that we face.

Long days. Weather that doesn't care. Schedules that slip and land on your shoulders. Money on the line. Men depending on you to make the right call. You carry it home, and then you carry it back in the morning.

Nobody hands you a tool for that. So I went and found one.

My story →

Along the way I found and began to study breath control and yoga from traditional lineages that resonated with me. Not a weekend certification. Real study, and daily practice, for years.

I continue to deepen and further those studies every day, for my own evolution and for those who are ready to evolve.

What I teach is not everything I've learned. I compiled the teachings I felt are best suited for individuals in the trades. The pieces that work when you're tired, sore, and short on time. The pieces that don't require you to believe anything or change who you are.

I found tools that don't require a therapist, a couch, or talking about any of it. Show up. Do the practice.

Three practices, one system: kriya, breath control, meditation.

Action

Kriya

Kriya means action. Sequences of movement coordinated with breath, working not only the physical body but the pranic body. Simple to do, and you don't need to understand it for it to work.

Awareness

Breath Control

Pranayama and breathwork. This gets treated as a stress technique, and it goes much further than that. In many ways it's the key to evolving.

Stillness

Meditation

Taught the usual way, it doesn't work. Sit down, fight your own mind for ten minutes, and quit. That's a bad setup, not a lack of ability. Here you'll get what's missing.

Builders, tradesmen, and the people who run them.

Laborers and operators. Foremen and supers. Estimators staring down a bid date. Owners who haven't slept properly in a year.

You don't need to be flexible, spiritual, or interested in yoga. You need about ten minutes and a willingness to try something you haven't tried.

Ways to work together →

If you practice with intent, this will change your life.

You've accomplished harder things than this. Bring your team or try it yourself.
